Nanny Professionals is proud of our consistent record of high
quality nanny placements and work hard to maintain this quality. Some of our placements

Our services include periodic nanny newsletters and
professional staff available to assist nannies with childcare or household questions. We
have 24 hour message service and flexible office hours to try to accommodate the busy
schedules of our clients.
When we place a caregiver with you, we consider the special
needs of both your family and the caregiver, allowing the most compatible match. We follow
these strict procedures:
- When a family contacts Nanny Professionals, an
application form
is completed by the family to identify the specific child care needs. When the
application form is received, we will call personally to discuss your specific needs. Then
we will e-mail, fax, or mail the fee schedule and contract. Upon receiving the signed
contract and initiation fee, the search for the best nanny begins.
- Nanny Professionals recruits nannies for placement through
referrals from other nannies, graduates of complementary educational institutions, and
extensive advertising over a six state area. Nanny Professionals procedure includes an
evaluation of prior education in childcare and/or equivalent experience, a personal
interview by a child development professional, Nanny Professionals child development
evaluation instruments, reference checks, verification of applicant data, and finger
printing.
- Nanny Professionals has access to ACCUFACTS INFORMATION
SERVICE, a credentials verification system. The permanent placement fee may, at the
family's request, include two specific verifications available within our system at no
extra cost (such as Minnesota driving record and credit checks). Other verification
services will be available at special discounted rates if the family wishes pre-employment
checks on additional individuals or additional ACCUFACTS services. Clients or families who
are not at the full permanent placement rate may purchase ACCUFACTS services at discounted
rates.
- When Nanny Professionals has identified a prospective nanny,
the applicant's file will be sent to the client family. The family then reviews the
applicant's file and arranges for an interview. Nanny Professionals encourages immediate
phone contact, allowing the best opportunity to hire a good candidate. Families may
continue to receive candidate files until the proper placement is made.
- The search for a qualified caregiver generally takes 4 to 8
weeks. However, Nanny Professionals will be happy to provide interim personnel
through NANNY PROFESSIONALS SITTER SERVICE when possible.
